Community Rules

Welcome to Midnight City Chronicles. The following rules outline the basic conduct we expect from our players OOC. Please read them all prior to joining. Violation of these rules may be handled by a server kick, temporary ban, or permanent ban based on the situation. If you require any clarification or have other questions regarding the rules, please don't hesitate to contact a GM.

All players must be 18 years of age or older.

Due to the themes and scenarios contained in this RPG, and for the comfort level of its members, all players must be legal adults.

Any media content shared in the chat or website must be SAFE FOR WORK.

This includes videos, images, icons, gifs, avatars, etc. No nudity, gore, or obscenity.

Zero tolerance for bigotry or discrimination.

Treat each other with respect. Any abusive language OOC, including but not limited to bigoted slurs against someone's race, orientation, gender, religion, etc. is not tolerated and will result in a ban.

No politics or religion in the OOC chat.

Yes there are political themes in the RP, no this is not a debate forum. You can debate these topics elsewhere.

No explicit sexual content, IC or OOC.

This is not an eRP. Smut is not permitted in the IC RP channels and explicit sexual talk is not permitted in the general chat.

Don't spam the chatrooms.

Leave space for other people to participate in the general OOC chat. Don't spam images/videos/gifs in the IC RP channels. Keep media posts to the designated media channels.

No advertising.

This includes posting links to other RPs and unsolicited DMing members with links to other RPs. Contact staff if you want to affiliate with us.

We are not your therapist.

We also aren't your doctor, lawyer, or financial planner. Please don't dump heavy life problems in the general chat and/or solicit professional advice or help from the OOC community - we are not qualified.

Communicate with Staff.

If you are having a problem with a player harassing you in DMs, if you think an issue is being neglected OOC, if there is something going on that's making you feel unwelcome in the community, PLEASE reach out to a GM. We can't fix problems if we don't know about them.
