Midnight City Chronicles takes place in the year 2400. 373 years prior, an apocalyptic event known as N-Day (Nexus Day) changed the world forever when magical energy and magical beings flooded into our dimension through tears in reality known as Nexus Rifts.

The world has since recovered from that apocalypse and is now filled with high-tech cyberpunk megacities where magic and technology work hand in hand. Augmented mercenaries work under the auspices of amoral megacorporations, lifebinders and hackers fight side by side, and conglomerates of Fae and Cyborgs watch the Dragon kingdom with a wary eye and a finger on the button. Yet outside of the cities are vast swaths of wastelands and wilderness full of bandits, nomads, ruins, strange magical creatures, and most importantly - Adventure.
