Physical Description
Broad-shouldered and well built, Boone looks like an athlete. But a long time spent working in the microgravity of orbit has given him some work to do to get back into peak condition. He is of mixed heritage, with his father's eyes and his mother's dark complexion. His hair is short and his full beard is always neatly trimmed. He has the scars of a youth spent fighting, but he has a bright grin and a sonorous laugh. He dresses in a utilitarian manner without much regard for high fashion, clothes that are tough and easy to move in. You never know when you might have to kick someone in the head.
Background
Boone was born in Midnight City, raised in a shabby Uniontown apartment complex mostly by his mother. His father was a pirate who spent most of his time on the water, docking in Midnight City only when he wasn't docked in Neo Tokyo. When his father was in town, he regaled Boone with his exploits on the ocean and taught him a thing or two about fighting - claiming to have learned "ancient techniques" from the mystics inhabiting lost islands. Boone never thought to question how lost these islands were if his dad met some mystics there. Eventually, Boone's mother succumbed to illness and Boone's father succumbed to sixteen gunshot wounds in the back. Boone spent his teenage years surviving the streets and looking for a way out of the city. Odd jobs took him up and down the coast, even to an aerospace factory floor in Shenzhou. Eventually Boone got a job on the janitorial staff at Zeal Station, but being in such close proximity to the wealthy was intolerable to him. He stood up for the health and safety of his fellow workers, which ended with him getting fired. Now he's back in Midnight City, shaking off the effects of so much time in orbit and figuring out what to do with his life. Midnight City, it seems, doesn't want to let him leave.
